I used the socks from Summerless' set and the C&B green sprig from page 12. The set got spring-ier and spring-ier as I went along. We've had unusually warm weather in these parts most of the winter but I still can't wait until everything turns green again!

All of my Polyvore sets represent some aspect of my personality but this is probably the closest to how I actually dress (only better!). Oh, how I wish I had yellow repeating eye tights!

I borrowed the skeleton key necklace. The set was partially inspired by the new(ish) Red Riding Hood film, which I just saw. The story could have used some work but the costumes and scenery are gorgeous and who doesn't love Gary Oldman?

I could definitely go for some strawberry preserves right now.

I'm starting a new job that wants employees to dress in a color palette of brown, khaki, black, white, grey, or navy...basically all of the colors I never wear and generally try to avoid at all costs. I thought making this collection might help me find the sort of pieces I could wear to work but wouldn't mind carrying into the rest of my life. (I couldn't help but add a few touches of color but hopefully I'm not too far outside the guidelines.)
